After having worked with Explore Nepal on a professional basis for more than 25 years and having experienced their extraordinary and personal service over all these years, I came back this time on a private trip to meet them as family and friends. My retirement made it possible and I enjoyed the extensive time I could spend. As usual my trip was perfectly organized and full of special highlights. Even for me, a “Nepal-Oldtimer”, there were surprises and new insights! My trekking-tour to Mardi Himal and Kopra Ridge in the Annapurna region was very well organized and I felt in very safe and professional hands every minute of the trek! It felt good to travel with Explore Nepal as they have been taking sustainability serious from the beginning of our cooperation. This I could experience while staying in their hotels in Kathmandu (Kantipur Temple House) and Bandipur (Gaun Ghar) and having dinner in their historic restaurant Bhojan Griha, which is a restored Rana Palace. In the attached Bio-Shop, Kheti Bazar, I could even buy some christmas presents for home – organic tea and coffee from Nepal! Thanks to everybody who made “Nepal resvisited” a great experience with a very personal touch!
