      Morning Cultural Walk

      Tour Details

Away from the hustle and bustle and the modern development that has quickly flourished in this ancient valley, which once boasted more temples than houses, there lies a uniquely old and traditional Newari community in Asan, untouched and unaffected by the changing times. This community sits deep inside Asan in its nooks and cranny, which hides glorious treasures of the past like ancient buildings, courtyards, temples, art and architecture, music, Newari ways and lifestyle. Our guide walks you back through time to observe this scarce culture and get a better sense and understanding of Nepal’s unique Newari heritage’s past.

It was the Annapurna circuit trek, which remains my favourite trek in Nepal. The 360 degree views of the 8000+m mountains never fail to impress me. Whilst witnessing local cultures in the villages along the way, this trek is also well supplied with many comfortable accommodation options”.
